@guigirl I was so looking forward for some big drama in reddit and everywhere containing angry mobs accusing "incompetent amateurs & idiots leaving everyone vulnerable for over a year, that's it, 🪛 U, I'm moving to Debian" and continue the bashing there, then I realised it wasn't about an expired certificate in some server like in MJ so it wasn't justified.

@npro Whilst my posts on this have been slightly tongue in cheek, i was genuine in my sense of growing unease about what seems to be a pretty big potential security hole. Whilst atm nothing has materially improved, hearing from GC about his plan to sort this out, & also hopefully future-proof it, made me feel better.

I've used Fedora, dito oS, on-metal in my Tower [ie, not just in VMs], & for various reasons i really would prefer not to have to go back to either of them. But Arch really does need to get its act together re the toolchain.
