Hm. Actually there seems be another issue that has been confirmed and a developer has been assinged. Yours was closed as a duplicate. Keep an eye on VB-83541

What's the status of VB-33963?
It was fixed in 4.1 but came back in 4.2 already (regression). Was the bug even reopened?more info:
