Yes, I'm having the same problem.
Basically any link that you open (from within the webpage) in a new tab or new window will have extensions disabled.
Opening link from speed dial, bookmarks, bookmark bar or if you type the address manually will work normally.

After being notified of this post here, I had checked that while the script is loaded initially in the tab where I logged in to that forum, after closing that tab (without logging out) and opening that forum in a new tab (still logged in to the forum), the script isn't triggered in that tab anymore... -
Aside from extensions being broken if you open a link as a tab (i do this a lot) the system vivaldi uses to install extensions from the chrome webstore does the same (internal extension?), if you open an extension site in a new tab the button to install the extension is not there anymore.

Found this when trying to reinstall it to see if it solved the issue (cause i'm an idiot and didn't come here to read if it was an snapshot issue).
Well this is what snapshots are for, to catch bugs so they don't reach stable, yet i hope a fix comes soon i really want to further test the rest of the cool changes.

@juanvase Yes, but this is nothing new in this Snapshot, it also happens in Stable. Always remember to test in Stable before reporting a possible regression
But of course you can report a regular bug.

Thanks for reminding me of <Esc>. I'm a veteran keyboard warrior, and that is more convenient than mousing back up to the address field down arrow.

What is your version? The shortcuts work for me even at other zoom levels now on the latest Snapshot.

Some extension do sometimes/often fail if a page was opened from speeddial in background tabs.
For me: uBlockOrigin and Stylus. -
Hi.
I don't know if it's just me. When "opening link in a new window in the background", the "Dark reader" extension (turns the background of the pages black..., is less tiring for the eyes) does not work, because it says that "this page is protected by the browser".
