You add a new Search Engine touting "Privacy". The next search I do, I goto the drop down and select it to try it out. No results,,, just a title page asking for MY Email! WTF? PRIVACY???

I forget what it was called, Neva? Can't tell now as I continued with my search on GoDuck and immediately went my settings/search/ and DELETED whatever it was called πŸ˜ƒ

        You're all Geniuses!!!

Hi, I think I found 2 regression bugs:

          1. In vertical tabbar, reorder tab via drag & drop inside tabbar sometimes cause the active tab end up at the end/bottom of tabbar.

          2. double/triple/quad click on a text to select word/sentence/paragraph doesn't work.

Thanks for the new shiny update, the vertical tabbar now feeling a bit more reactive/faster, keep up the good work! πŸ˜‰

Sorry, I'm currently hiatus from updating any of my CSS mod until further notice...

What if Vivaldi desktop could read QR codes from the screen of my smartphone or tablet and open them in my desktop, as well as being capable of sharing them? It could use the camera of my desktop to read QR codes on my smartphone.

The little QR code button in the address bar, could have these two features.

Does anybody uses Vivaldi to work with DELL servers? DELL iDRAC have Virtual Console which is opening in new tab. In Vivaldi this Virtual Console is always opened as tiny window and always needs to be resized. Edge opens Virtual Console in new tab with much more bigger window size, not needed to resize it.

Hi @doctorg, where can bug reports be made? Vivaldi doesn't make this easy to find, I ended up making a post in the forum because I couldn't see where. This was my text, as I noticed some bugs, or adverse behaviour:

Firstly, thanks for adding this feature. I enjoy seeing Vivaldi continue to offer improvements like this.

                  However, there are some bugs
If automatic detection doesn't work and you select the a language from the drop down, it translates (good!) but the next time you try to translate something there are two issues
                  i. the translation from language doesn't revert to automatic and stays on the last selected (this could be an option to change the default behaviour)
ii. the translation doesn't work, regardless of the language selection.

I also noticed it doesn't come up with the option to translate on some text elements (I noticed a few names in Japanese on Twitter had no option to translate)
Some of the translations are not very good as well.

A nice additional improvement would be to have the translate option immediately clickable after selecting text (like how most chrome translation addons work). The extra right click, then going to the translate selection is tedious.

Please read Help us to reproduce the issue carefully and then report bug to Vivaldi tracker.

Can we get text search in web panels? I've put the Unicode emoji list there, but I can't search them from a web panel.

                              Hello,

                              can someone help me ?

I use the new Vivaldi version 4.2
                              under Windows 10 (64 Bit)

I usually always open about 50 tabs
with internet pages. It's worked so far.

But now it no longer works Vivaldi goes gray shows nothing more
also benden via the task manager or a reinstall does not work.

with all other browsers this works, only at the moment not with Vivaldi
how do I solve the problem ?

                              Greetings πŸ™‚

@ivan-a-petkov I can't figure out how to show the Bulgarian at all:

It showed as target language once or twice, but next time I try to translate something its just not in the list as an option 😞

                                    Any ideas ?

@presianbg Can’t see it either, but Lingvanex definitely provides Bulgarian translations, you can check it on their website. Might be a bug? No idea. What bothers me personally is the fact languages aren’t sorted by their English name; Lingvanex handles the sorting this way.

This was a good version. Nearly all the issues/glitches I had with tabs (opening/closing/multiple selection & moving) over the last few versions have been fixed and the UI finally feels stable now.
