Extension bar with a drop-down menu, like Chrome [native GUI].

If you like the request, give the request a thumbs up, to show, that we want this feature implemented into Vivaldi.
Hi dear Community and the Vivaldi team,
I think the browser is one function missing, what is a big function, and that is the drop-down menu for the extensions.
Of course Vivaldi has a drop-down menu, but not the expected Chrome drop-down menu.
I give you now examples:
Chrome drop-down menu:
Opera drop-down menu:
Brave drop-down menu:
Vivaldi:
If You notice, the GUI is completely different and if you are installing more and more extensions, the GUI going more left and more left and the end you have a very long extension bar and not more a GUI.
I have an idea. Why do we not add a button[checkbox/checkmark] in the settings, who wants the native GUI of Chrome, can click this button, and who wants the customized version of Vivaldi should also have the chance to use the custom GUI of Vivaldi [also with a button]?
Have a nice day.

Hi,
You can try SimpleExtManager in the meantime.

@pliex I only use three extensions, but they don't hide the GUI at all. How does it look with dozens of extensions? Does the toolbar just get longer and longer, or does it wrap at some point to a second row of icons?
Settings, Address Bar:
Expand Hidden Extension to Drop-Down Menu -
@pesala it's more than just displaying enabled extension's button, the list also included installed but disabled extension. Think of it as the native extension tab restyle into a list that allow you to enabled/disabled/uninstall all installed extension directly from a popup menu.
This is a feature missing from Vivaldi that could make managing extension a lot easier. It's not a replacement for the extension buttons wrapper, but to complement it. Preferably it work similar to THIS extension.

Very easy. Use the extension @Zalex108 mentioned: SimpleExtManager

As a bonus shows the updated extensions:

Or you can use extension control (GitHub). Bonus: it is developed by two forum contributors ( @luetage & @sjudenim).

@guigirl Yes, of course it is. I'm using the GitHub release, seems to be more recent than the CWS one (v0.70 vs v0.68).

@guigirl EC is not dependent on the Vivaldi UI, it uses chromium apis. As long as Vivaldi doesn’t break them somehow it will continue to work.

@guigirl Greet your friend. Should they have further questions I’d be happy to help you… errrr them

@pliex Does this do what you want? I just discovered that it exists. https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/65742/show-dropdown-menu-for-extension-icon-when-width-is-small which show how to expand extensions as a drop-down. See the comments below the question.
