stop tabs change colours

Can someone help me disable the tabs from changing colours in Vivaldi on android? I tried to look in the app and online but couldn't find a solution. I wonder how many people also find it extremely annoying? it is the main reason I do not use it often.

@messy Change to dark theme, it doesn’t feature the accent color from active page feature. But yeah, we’re all basically waiting for custom themes at this point.

@luetage Thanks. Unfortunately in the daytime I prefer a white background on nearly all text-heavy webpages (including this one), so the dark theme is unsuitable. I hope the developers do not make colour-changing the default in future releases, or at least allow easy switch-off for users.

@messy Changing the browser to dark theme won’t change the background of webpages, it changes the colors of the user interface.

That webpage goes dark with the dark theme, so I was immediately put off (I was browsing there in order to find an answer). I can live with this solution for now. I still don''t like vivaldi menus being dark in daytme, but it's not too bad now. Thanks again.

@luetage I found another website that changes to dark when the dark theme is enabled: savieo.com. So I think it depends on the website & there are probably many more that change with the dark theme.

I use this site to download bitchute videos. So I think I am back to where I started, unfortunately.
