How to import contacts

The attached capture is a search result from Vivaldi - I do not see any import button: - "Click on Import on the menu above the contact view"
Also, the contacts that were imported from one email account are not sorted by name - clicking the sort by name does nothing.

There has to be a simple way to import contacts from other email clients surely?

That option still seems to be missing from the client in 2023. So importing contacts is only available in Vivaldi WebMail?

Oh dear, there I was thinking at last I had an alternative to the increasingly unstable Thunderbird which was great for years until 'improvements' rendered it hopeless for my simple purposes. Can't even import my csv contacts list? I'll stick to the excellent browser.

@Michael69 correct, Vivaldi only knows contacts from the emails you have sent and received. Contacts are so far basic at best. Vote for https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/53314/contacts-carddav-sync by liking the first post in that thread.
