@juanvase A lot of people would just ignore it (that’s what I think). IMO a checkbox (ticked by default) that you can untick to turn off the edit notification is really the best.

Like today, I've seen many Forum Updated messages in the last couple of weeks (and no communication providing a bit of information about what has been updated) but, like @Pesala , I miss the breadcrumb very much...

@jane-n Can it be that users in the private Translations section of the forum no longer receive notifications when they are @mentioned?
I have seen some mention of this. Maybe you could check if this broke recently.

@s_paternotte I tested this with a different private category, but could not reproduce it.

I'd suggest double checking notification settings.

Also, when the user who is getting mentioned in a post already has the same topic open, then it will create a notification, but will mark it as read immediately. Which means there won't be any red unread counter on the notifications button.

But there's an ambassador I feel seems to go from thread to thread in people's feature requests to mostly tell them that their feature requests are unwelcome and/or useless and their accessibility or use cases are invalid and how is that supposed to be welcoming for new users who are interested in improving features?
