Replace Vivaldi Forum with Wikipedia (VB-78585)
Dark times : / Goodbye forum, so long…

@luetage: You know you can add any panel you like

Second

@luetage oh no !

@Stardust They take away the forum because they think we have a bad influence on new users. It’s crystal clear

Ok, something “serious” now. I cannot seem to be able to use the shortcut
alt‐i
for extensions anymore. It stopped working after update and I’m not able to set it again. Inputting any other shortcut instead of it works.alt‐i
itself isn’t set in the keyboard shortcuts section. Thought something was added but apparently not. -
@luetage: Interesting. Thanks for mentioning

I assumed this was a bug in 3.7, so I was waiting to see what it would look like in a new 3.8, which has just arrived. Unfortunately, it hasn't changed. Maybe someone can clarify.
You have two or more tabs open on the same host. You right-click one of the tabs (the tab itself) and see this, for example:
Stack Tabs by Host (5 of vivaldi.com)
Stack Tabs by HostsThey do the same thing, but before 3.7, there was only one of those (I forget which, but I think the first). Why are there now two when one is redundant? Stacking tabs by host is not even close to a new feature, despite 3.7 making it sound like it was in the release notes.

Thank you team vivaldi.
Much appreciated. -
@rseiler If you have multiple tabs open from different domains, Stack Tabs by Hosts will create multiple tab stacks.

[Tabs] Smoother drag and drop (VB-78365)
Haven't noticed the big difference here.
The distraction is obvious, we are moving (!) 2 objects: transparent tab and the border at the same time while the transparent tab is detached from the tab bar and it wiggles:OTOH previous tab dragging doesn't have such cons: only one object is moving with very smooth animation, no wiggles (because tab is not detached).

@Stardust Both versions have their pros and cons. It’s far smoother stacking tabs right now for instance. I’d suggest moving tabs with shortcut anyway. Only thing that’s missing is a way to move from first to last position instantly, just like when switching tabs (circular).
