I just started to read the blog post and...
I had to calm down, to take a deeeeeep breath, to have a look outside, inside, upside, downside, to touch my face, my arm, my foot, my nose (woooooh, you go to far here... stop it! At once!).
I remember so many messages like this :

and it was obvious for me that I would live with it. You know... Vivaldi... small team... etc.
But, hidden in the shadow, behind the curtains, maybe from a remote hub in a country that doesn't exist, you were preparing that incredible webpage translation feature? Were you?

Vivaldi team, you are amazing!
Thank you for all the features you add to the browser to make it better and better and better.
For me, it's already the best browser I've used so far and... no, it seems not to be enough for you. You give more.

@hstoellinger @mossman @Ruarí I managed to open the Vivaldi UI again... kind of.

• Add --disable-vivaldi to a vivaldi shortcut, launch it and you'll see the marvellous chromium UI;
• Do a new profile: I called mine "whoiam": Vivaldi will see it as person 2. Restart chromium vivaldi;
• Add --profile-directory="Whoiam" and remove --disable-vivaldi to the shortcut. Launch it;

You can enter with the new profile, but you lose any [vivaldi] settings as they're bind to person 1.
Also, mail will be turned off. But I enabled it without issues (so far). Fun fact: I still have a cat avatar.

Switching to person 1 will break the UI again. So it seems the update broke something in the main profile.
But only people with the issue can test and/or troubleshoot this.

I'm very satisfied with the new aesthetic touches. They are all towards the right direction. Unfortunately the e-mail is still a problem for me, so M2 forever!

Probably more accurately, "...the update encountered something broken in the main profile." I suspect if the update were breaking things in profiles, there would be a flock of reports.

@Ayespy That's the reason I asked some feedback from affected users and didn't a report yet. But is still quite strange as the test snapshot is pretty much vanilla (no extensions or mods)

Still getting tab gaps... Is this in the bug tracker yet? I'm unsure because it seems like I'm the only one here having the issue. Should report it soon I suppose...

Nevermind it's probably part of VB-77817 and I may wrongly see it as a separate issue. I'd better wait.

I get flashing address bar buttons with periodic reload activated on a tab. Whatevs, it's just a snapshot doing its thing...

I don't know if it was said already somewhere above. But when I delete the Browser Data it is impossible to Right-Click - nothing happens. Also the Sync-Cloud gets empty. Only a Restart fixes everything ...

And you've messed up the speed dial again.... Maybe you'll give the option to set your own margins for speed dial icons?

@mattsolo45: Can you elaborate on what's messed up? We had some issues in earlier builds with incorrect dimensions and cropping, but it should be back to the sizes we've always used now.

@zalex108: you mean the mod for scrolling the panels bar? it had an issue when adding new ones.
