Conditional TabStrip partly obscures bottom NavBar and adds blank space gap
-
Hi,
This has long been a problem with Tab Group flags. The Conditional TabStrip partly obscures the bottom Navigation Bar, and adds a blank space gap between Android's Navigation and Vivaldi's NavBar. Everytime you open a new tab in the group, the space gap enlarges, moving both the NavBar and the Conditional TabStrip further and further upwards.

Only solution is removing unnecessary bottom navigation bar. I filed this issue here

@balachandarsmr Why would this be the only solution.
The problem with removing Vivaldi's Navigation bar, is that the Tab Switcher would then be at the top, and thus not at easy reach, particularly for those with large screen deceives. For that reason, I like Vivaldi's NavBar because the Tab Switcher, Forward button (no Android gesture for forward , as I found out the other day on my partners new Pixel), Search button, and Panel are all at easy reach. -

Hi,
Flags are unstable experiments provided by the chrome developers. Vivaldi can't fix bugs with these until the experiments become stable and are not hidden in flags any more.
So for now you would just have to put up with it, or turn the tab groups off.

How easy to switch tab with navigation bar. You click tab switcher and move your finger to top to switch specific tab?
Is it convenient to moving finger from top to bottom instead of staying in one placeForward button (no Android gesture for forward , as I found out the other day on my partners new Pixel)
Long pressing android back button bring up history. So back and forward button isn't necessary

+1, this is so annoying. Imho it makes Vivaldi completely unusable as I open a lot of tabs. Everytime after I open 2 or 3 tabs, I have to go to the tab view and back into the tab. Just to reset the gap and make it start all over again.
