how to display on home page speed dial entries imported from Opera
-
I've imported my speed dial entries from Opera but they are hard to get at. Is it possible for me to substitute them for the default entries on the home page. Thanks.

Open the Bookmarks Panel, delete the unwanted entries in the speed dial folder then drag and drop the imported Opera bookmarks to the speed dial folder.

Easier answer - just set the Use as speed dial checkbox on the folder, and if you want clear the checkbox on the old folder. In Vivaldi you can set any folder to be a speed dial folder, if you have more than one they show as tabs at the top of the actual speed dial page.

@sgunhouse That is easier, but if you do that, the new speed dial folder is not Home Page unless you set it so. You have to rename it Sped Dial in order for Vivaldi to be able to set it as Home Page. In that instance, you merely delete the old Speed Dial folder, rename the new one to Speed Dial, and set it as a speed dial in the bookmarks folder list. User asked about having the imported bookmarks on "home page."

Implied in the question was that speed dial was his home page, but he wanted his imported speed dial instead. Also due to Sync I have more than one folder named Speed dial.

Pretty sure I did, too, but I fixed it. Only thing I can't eliminate from sync due to my phone is an empty folder named "Bookmarks."

Easy when you know how! Thanks to all responders.
