I was a Google Chrome user recently shifted to Vivaldi, and all my passwords and bookmarks are saved in Chrome. I tried to import bookmarks and passwords through "Menu > File > Import Bookmarks and Settings". All bookmarks were successfully imported but passwords are blank. I mean usernames are imported but password section is blank. When I try to sign into page Vivaldi just auto complete username box but password box remains empty. How can I import complete passwords from Chrome? Please help me with this..πŸ˜₯

I noticed this too when trying to import from firefox and no passwords were imported even though vivaldi reported that they had been.
Have you tried exporting from chrome into a recognised file format and importing that way.?

not sure if a flag needs enabling in the flags page.

@Priest72 I tried to import password from "Menu > File > Import Bookmarks and Settings". And password box remains blank. A moderator just replied and it worked. Just need to enable a flag and import password from Chrome as a .csv file. Check his comment for details😊

              Presumably in part b)

Delete all broken logins first in chrome://settings/passwords
              Open chrome://flags/#PasswordImport

              Should read

Delete all broken logins first in vivaldi://settings/passwords
              Open vivaldi://flags/#PasswordImport

I kept going back to Chrome browser initially, Vivaldi automatically puts "vivaldi" in the line

Is there a quick way to delete the entries, I had a lot of passwords to do one by one.

However, it works Thankyou @Gwen-Dragon and @BNibir

              ps complete not tekky

@Gwen-Dragon I was thinking for all passwords, because it was taking a longtime working through which were working. Unlike the above screenshot my list shows all passwords present, as in they were asterisked out, but when at a login page my name was put in automatically but not the password and consequently when I click show passwords they were blank. I also assumed that importing a complete csv file would result in lots of duplicates.

@Gwen-Dragon love it, thank you so much!
I'll try it here in a few hundreds of accounts over the years, and I was wondering about a cab import or the other one I was gonna try that has worked in the past for me, importing into another opera firefox edge browser and then see if the receiving app recognizes the other ones better. But this saved me some time and got right down to the nitty gritty..
                  Awesome sauce!!
Vivaldi rocks took the best of opera and made it awesome!!
