It's funny how people always fall under the classic trap of trolls, feeding them. Their purpose is always the same, extruding people into unrestrained anger as we saw with the case of AgentX. Whose loss was it in the end?

Well the posts that got AgentX banned were in reply to me. So your implication is therefore directed at me? There was nothing "troll" like about my 2 posts (which still remain). Their own salacious self-righteousness is what wound them up. Don't make excuses nor lay blame at the feet of others for someone else's own behaviour.
If you want to try and have a civil discourse over this matter, then we can do that in the appropriate thread (which again, this is not).

Please get your facts straight first and then read the part in the Code of Conduct about "counting to 10 before you write", thanks, have a good night.

That post did not get them banned, which is why I was able to respond to it. It was in fact their subsequent responses to me that escalated and led to their removal. As you can clearly see with their remaining posts being in response to mine. As a matter of fact, their responses to me were removed and they re-posted them. That is what led to their removal from this site, and I know this because I saw it in real time. So if your implication is that their anger led to their removal, then I am a part of that.
Edit: I find it dismissive to call @bongyi a troll simply for exercising an opinion that differs and was nowhere near as inflammatory as the person who got banned
-
@sjudenim Let me make this clear. It was not specifically a response to @sjudenim that caused the ban. The user's comments were becoming increasingly intemperate, and one response (prior to @sjudenim 's comments) drew a flag and an edit. I personally edited that response to remove language in violation of the community Code of Conduct and then the user came back to that comment and re-edited it to make it ten times worse than the original. A user flagged that edit, and that caused the ban. @sjudenim was not involved in that exchange, though the cumulative effects of the user's replies (to everyone) was also a factor. Of course, at no point was the user's opinion a factor - only the user's conduct.

I was in the middle of writing my own clarification, but @Ayespy was faster, as usual. So, I'm only going to add that the very post that you were replying to was already violating the CoC and the only reason for which you were able to reply to that, is that there was no mod at the time to take the appropriate action. The subsequent responses were actually toned down, compared to the previous posts, although it doesn't really matter at this point and I don't think we need to discuss it any further.

Thank you for that. That was my point, that they became increasingly belligerent. Also, I don't know if I was the only one, but I did flag that profane post
-
@sjudenim FWIW, I flagged it too for it was blatantly offensive.
-
I've jus logged in to say: Thank you!
-
@Firefox On behalf of the Team, You're welcome!
-
You guys just can't stop impressing me update after update! Keep up the good work!
-
@oSumAtrIX sorry for the delay and thanks for your comment. Indeed the mailing list for technical update is quite big so it takes several days to send that mailing.

Is it possible to pin the more advanced note system to the side panel?
-
@uriahlight , I think not, but if you need a complete editor for the web panel, this is the best workarround

(Also works fine in mobile) -

Not at this time, but have you tried using tiling of tabs? Maybe that would give you what you need?
-
@jon
Will you implement a two-column layout for the Notes manager? The current one is a huge waste of space. -
@Nekomajin It seems a two-column layout is on its way. See @jon's replies in this thread.
-
@sdtbluethink: I got all excited thinking that the editable menu was the context menu. Next time maybe!
-
@IIKCARUS There are a lot of different context menus. I was able to move my mouse less than an inch and access five different context menus. So making them editable will take a bit longer.
