Small improvements to the clock and popout video – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1867.3
-
I hereby ask one more time... whether you can add a second hand to the status bar clock?
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/44717/feature-request-clock-with-seconds
-
Here's hoping for a fix for VB-62216 (Focus History panel) fix before 2.12 is out
-
is a clock even needed? Don't get offended but it is one of the most useless feature.
-
@stardepp This is in the works!
-
@evilspark: Clock in Vivaldi at the bottom right+autohide Windows bar => You have the clock at the same position.
So, yeah, useful. -
@EvilSpark It's not for everyone, and that's ok. You can remove it from the toolbar if you don't need it (right-click Customise -> Remove from toolbar).
-
@helmers: thanks for the help. No bad feelings there
-
@helmers I hope you can quickly fix those annoying "..ss .." and align the "Salva predefinito" (Save Preset) and "Avvio" (Start) buttons.
-
It would be nice to fix:
(VB-64590) Clock Countdown Timer Scroll Buttons do not Scroll on Click and Hold
and
(VB-64355) FQ: Alarm Sound Instead of Notification Dialog
Must fix:
(VB-64354) Alarm Shows Two Notifications
-
The crash phenomenon when opening links in multiple profiles using the newly added "Open link as" context menu item, which I reported in previous build thread seems resolved now. Thanks.
Windows 10 1909 (Build 18363.720)

2.12.1867.3 (Build) Standalone installation x 5 profiles -
@Gwen-Dragon
No, I didn't. I asked if it was a known bug and waited for response. But no one replied. I can still file one if you like. Shall I?IMHO it shows how good the dev team is when the bug is fixed even before it's been reported. Well done
-
@Gwen-Dragon No problem. I'm sure we'll see more cases of bugs fixed before reported.
(From now on I'll file bug anyway soon after first reporting, rather than waiting for confirmation.) -
Not related to the snapshot, but ...
"Microsoft Edge has found a clever solution called vertical tabs that will make you feel safe when you have a lot of open tabs"
https://mspoweruser.com/microsoft-edge-vertical-tabs-feature/
-
@helsten2 If you want vertical tabs, go to Settings, Tabs, and choose left or right.
-
Probably first post or since years. I just upgrade from previous snapshot on my MacBook on 10.11.6
It's block on the grey window. I have most of the menus, all the bookmarks, but the tool menu is empty...
Rename folder home/Library/application support/vivaldi don't change anything only the grey window take now most place of the screen... -
@pesala: I have used vertical tabs in Vivaldi from the beginning. I thought it was funny that this was announced as "a clever solution" from Microsoft ...
EDIT:
I am trying to post a link to Vivaldi in the MSPoweruser comment section, but they keep deleting my posts ... -
@helsten2: And tomorrow it's gonna be patented by MS
-
@fabien: back to previous version. It's OK.
Back to last version via .dmg : same problem. It's not only something wrong during autoupdate.
Hope it's just because i'm with an old computer and an old version of MacOS... -
@evilspark: Of course it's not needed. It's just an indication that they are struggling what to do next.
If the old timers think back when Star Office was on the go before Sun took them over, they extended it take over the entire desktop shell. It didn't last and was removed on the next release.
I mean seriously, why are resources being put toward such a useless feature which is already available on the desktop.
As soon as I saw it, I disabled it.

After upgrading to this latest snapshot the price bars on this charting service website chart are now skinny. They used to be twice as wide before updating from the previous version to the most recent version on the development channel. Any idea why this happened?
