Nice, RC
Is "find in page bug" fixed? (Didn't see it in recent changelogs).
-
Focusing on regressions, After an RMB+Scroll, clicking on another tab to switch to it starts dragging it about.
-
Good work! Maybe it would be neat to have the custom capture filename UI populate the input field when one of the items is being clicked. Being able to operate it this way additionally would rule out any human errors.
-
@luetage: You can either drag it to input or double-click.
-
@mariap Double-click adds a space after the parameter, drag and drop does not.
- $day $month $year (double-click)
- $day$month$year (drag and drop)
-
@mariap Damn, I didn't notice that, only tried single click. Maybe the items could change on hover to make this more obvious.
-
@pesala: Noted

I know, I've been looking for it too. It seems fixed since I've not had any crashes lately. Maybe it was a side-effect of another bug which has been fixed.
Also the spinner/page-load bug I reported (VB-48594) is gone, which is great.
But it would help us if they actually listed all bugs fixed -- at least if they know about it being fixed?
Thanks for the RC anyway, seems really good here so far

@lonm:
It was introduced ~2 month ago as VB-47085 in 2.2.1388.21 snapshot, AFAIR. -
@komposten: Thanks, but I am aware of that. They were asking for a button though which is why I suggested the same extension that has been previously suggested by the Vivaldi team. And yes, the right click method doesn't work in many sites which is another reason to have the extension to fall back on.
-
When Vivaldi crashes (I was trying notes panel (because of VB-48571) with this SS (and deleted profile)) it starts again, then crashes, starts… and I have to shut my computer down. Anybody else having this issue?
-
@komposten: Nope, doesn't work on my most hated site (because of many bug reports. No I don't say which :p ) and for sites which capture too many events over the video - those need the button.

"To help us get X out the door as soon as possible, please focus your feedback on serious regressions since X-1 stable."
Not a sentence that I ever enjoy reading since it assigns more importance to new problems than older ones and means that the older ones are being punted on once again. Maybe there's a better way to put it?
