Open Image Properties as a Panel

The image inspector - which show image details - could be opened also as a panel due its similar size.

Image Properties as a Dialogue
A panel might be an interesting idea. Selecting a different image would show its details in the panel.

@hadden89 I don't understand why you refer to the image inspector. Is it a language thing? The menu item in English is Image Properties. Inspect opens the Developers Tools.
Out of curiosity, I added your avatar as a Web Panel, but the icon for the panel icon was mine!

@pesala as is named
.image-inspector
in dev tools. But is properties.Out of curiosity, I add your avatar as a Web Panel, but the icon for the panel was mine!
I don't know what say. Do you mean the dog picture or do you see your one?
On blog still I can't place one. Maybe is related.That's strange. I only see the V logo placing an avatar as panel.

This solution would have a benefit above the current one. We could see the properties of any image on the page, without having to open it on a new page.

At first I thought so, too. Then I considered what happens on a page with dozens of pictures: you will have to scroll down within the panel and look for the properties of the one picture you are actually interested in.

@ghpy
Or just right click on an image, and select a menu item, which opens the panel, and shows the information of the given image. -

@derDay
How would it open automatically without selecting an image? -
@Nekomajin
wether if only the picture is open (open image) or in combination with selecting the image (like you said) -
If we accept that panel is only an anchored window into which we can have web page, basic info, then this is the user that decides what form is the best for him : i mean that he can drag an drop onto the panel tool bar for getting a panel style, or getting more free like a window instance...
This suggestion may make the problem clearer Unanchor panel / Free floating panel / Pop-up panel. -
