Solved Faster Assignment of Tab Tiling
-
Tile current and next tab with one click/shortcut without need for tabs selection.
Firefox's 56 (and older) Tile Tabs extension's options:
As you can see, it has single F12 shortcut for creating tiles from two near tabs.
Eg Ctrl+F9/F8/F7 can be workable without preliminary tabs selection - for tiling of two near tabs.
Also: Alt+Click on any unactive tab will make tiles with it and active tab.
Optional: double Click on any unactive tab will make tiles with it and active tab. -
@asires This is possible with the use of Command Chains:
- Select Current Tab (not required if "Include Active Tab in Initial Selection in Settings" > Tabs > Tab Features > Tab Selection is checked)
- Select Next Tab
- Tile Vertically/Horizontally
- Deselect Tabs
The command chain can be added to a context menu, as well as being assigned to a keyboard shortcut or a mouse gesture.
