Exorcism – Vivaldi browser Snapshot 1.14.1042.3

devtools open a new tab there it opens two tabs instead of one

Thanks for the update.
I have one issue which has been there for a while:
When I restore saved sessions, the order inside my tiled tab stacks has been changed. Happens always with two, sometimes with three tiles.Win7x64 Vx64

Who you gonna call?
RUARI BUSTERS!!! -
Thanks for fixing the maximise opened tabs bug. Another thing I noticed: When going fullscreen on a video, and closing the tab without exiting fullscreen first. The window of the new active tab doesn't show any UI elements. The browser doesn't remain in fullscreen, since it's the normal size, but the UI doesn't come back. You can only get the UI back by going into fullscreen with a video and exiting the fullscreen with button (or escape), or opening a new window.
OSX 10.11.6, this snapshot

I read the top of the blog post about former shutdown issues, but what is an exit menu, exactly, which is mentioned later in the post? Wouldn't it apply regardless of how you exit? Surely it can't refer to File|Exit - Has anyone ever used that as opposed to the obvious way? I didn't even know it was there.
-Implemented proper shutdown when using menu Exit

Vivaldi still not opening maximized over here...
-
I thought launching maximized bug was fixed internally, Vivaldi still not launching maximized!

I am still unable to enable synchronization despite using the correct login credentials. It just hangs on "Login to Vivaldi in progress. Please wait." Has anybody figured out how to fix this error?

Thanks!

Does anyone use 'Switch Tabs by Scrolling' feature? From the latest 1.13 snapshots to the 1.14.1042.3 one it scrolls the page while switching tabs. it's very inconvenient to use.
-
@gwen-dragon thank you for the link! Hope the issue will be fixed soon. Meantime, I have to use the previous stable version.
-
@axk Not for me it doesn't. There is still a space above the tabs on starting Vivaldi.

Everything ok, but it's already the 2nd snapshot that doesn't get a warning it's available neither in the systray nor by starting vivaldi and getting the notification window. The autoupdate setting is active, and when it is I expect it to warn me in either or both ways, else it's just useless to keep a updater.exe always in memory.

@rseiler: Yes, it is about file > exit and i know of a lot of users, especially in the linux community who use it (or the associated keyboard shortcut) to close all open windows at once and shut down the browser.
The fixes influenced the general behavior of the other shutdown varieties too, at least I am not able to break them anymore.
-
@ian-coog: More than one Vivaldi version installed?
-
@quhno nope, a single one and normal install, not standalone.
