@regnas You can try to start Vivaldi with the command line parameter
--process-per-site
which helps a lot to reduce the amount of needed RAM and GPU if you have multiple pages from the same site open at the same time.
All of the tabs in the partial screenshot are active (and I had a lot more open in the past) and no, I don't use a gazillion terabyte RAM machine but moderate 8GB and a quite slow CPU with on-board graphics.Thanks for the suggestion, even though I hardly have multiple pages from the same site open at the same time.... anyway, cheers...

Editing Session so we can Modify/Erase URL from session is also a very helpfull option -
@msmorgan Pinned Tabs will be easier to access if you stack them first, then pin them. Enable Popup Thumbnails in Setting, Tabs, Show Popup Thumbnails. Then, hovering over the single icon for the pinned tab-stack will let you easily select any tab in the stack from its thumbnail. Use a shortcut to pin the tabs.

Keyboard shortcuts for panels.
For example, refresh panel, panel home, panel forward, panel back. -
FEATURE REQUEST: Show download speeds at downloads bars itself...
Whilst the download speed in the downloads panel is very welcome, I would prefer to see it in the downloads bars itself and showing downloads speed for every simultaneous downloads... so I could see several download speeds at a glance instead of click each download to see their download speed at bottom...

Open bookmark links in the active Start page tab instead of new tabs (when option "Open in new tab" is active)
When tab with Start page (speed dial) is active, launch links from bookmarks (including bookmarks bar) directly in the Start page tab instead of creating new tab. If the Start page is opened, but not active, then launch bookmark link in a new tab.

feature request for add a setting for changing drag link behavior(request again)
From vivaldi 1.8, when drag left/right on a link, it will select the link's text instead of drag the link.(i know drag the link up/down will drag the link, but it's hard to use, and it's often select text instead of drag link)
It's useful when you exactly want to select the link text. But i think you want to drag the link most time.
So my request is that is it possible to add a setting to let user decide what the behavior is.
And add a key mapping to change the behavior temporary(for example, hold the ctrl or alt key).Thanks

@banterfacefox At the very first time I read you're request I maybe misundertood but, I did not understand why you would only copy one part of the address (it doesn't work well, there's a bug discussion about it) but, if you clone a tab, the cloned tab will have the same address, of course...
I don't undersand if you ask for this feature because that bug. -
@bakfiets According to you're idea i think it would be useful also for whom as only have one monitor, but use 2 or more Vivaldi windows open. A right-click voice like: Open in Vivaldi (2) (where 2 stands for second Vivaldi window), or Send this tab to Vivaldi (2)...

It's really simple, once in Settings/Start Page check Background images, in the last one there is a Change button, press that. -

More Start Page Background images please. The
sixseven on offer now aren't enough. Most of them are blue, which is a color I'm trying to avoid when looking at the browser in the evening and night. -
@deagfrog If I'm understanding your feature request properly, it sounds like a great shortcut to cloning a tab before navigating it's history while leaving the original tab alone. I do this often when comparing, researching, etc.

@goldenrodtycoon Sounds like a great use for a panel. Bind a panel to a folder on your computer and just drop images into the panel. Presto, saved.
Bonus points for adding renaming functionality that allows filename templates based on domain, path, format, resolution, etc, etc.

@osmin To combat the modern tracking, Vivaldi probably should completely ignore all :visited styles and implement something on another level outside the page sandbox so trackers can't detect it.

Panel "Window" Modes
I'd like the Panel functionality to be available in a different mode. By this I mean, rather than a docked panel that crushes the current web page whenever it's open, there should be an option of Docked (current behavior), Overlay, or Floating Window.
The Overlay would work much like Extension Overlays which do not affect the current tab. This way there is no content reflow/redraw whenever a "Panel" is opened, like Downloads.
On the Docked option, there should be an option for which side the Panel is docked to (not just left and right, but top and bottom too). This should be configurable per panel. For example, the Downloads Panel could be configured to Dock at the bottom of the window. In this case, there would not need to be any space for the actual Panel buttons because it would be the only Panel configured to Dock in that location.
However, the Download Panel could also be configured as an Overlay, that much like Firefox, Safari, simply pops open to let you know a download started and then fades out (optional) if you ignore it.
The Floating Window option would work just as well for Downloads, particularly if you're downloading a lot of files. Just move it out of the way so you can keep an eye on it and download away.
My use case may be somewhat out of the ordinary because I never use maximized or fullscreen windows. My screens are large enough it would make most web sites look ridiculous if I did so. My home screen is wide enough I can have two windows 1200px wide next to each other with room to spare.
This use case, however, is probably overshadowed by the many people who have multiple display panels. I expect being able to put a Panel on another display would be even more valuable to those users.
The Overlay option should be able to function identically to a Floating Window if a user chooses to "pin" the Overlay open. I imagine a case where a Links Panel exists and to avoid a costly reflow of an enormous web page, the Links Panel could be opened in an Overlay, pinned to stay open, maybe even pinned to the specific tab so that other tabs could be opened from the original Links list. Ideally, the user would also be able to scale and resize the Overlay to fit their needs.
