Love to see fixes for minimzed tabs. That was needed.
On another note, what did you do with the toolbar buttons/area? I do sense a change, but I cannot quite get behind what it is. -
Thanks a lot for the new Snapshot! Nice
-
@luetage Could you provide a screenshot of what you feel has changed? I can't see anything out of the box.
-
@Aronand I have a custom modification for the home button. I'm hiding the svg and display a custom button in the background. It's substantially bigger than before, but the background stayed at 34x34px. That's strange, because both background and my image are a 34px square, therefore I cannot make out a change, but as said, it's still far bigger than 15 minutes ago before I updated. That's obviously something that only concerns me, and I will fix it with a new background image, I'm still curious what you developers have changed, because I cannot explain it by checking it with devtools

Can i get clarification of "Known Issue: Widevine version 1.4.8.1000 breaks Netflix in Vivaldi VB-30960" pls? As per all the angst & hot-under-collar posts for previous recent releases, that problem seemed to afflict Win [& Mac?] builds, but not Linux builds. If i update my current Linux 1.11.917.35 to this 1.12.933.3, does that mean that I'll also lose Netflix... or is the problem still limited only to Win [& Mac?]?

I see there's a new thumbnail for vivaldi.com. Nice! Are you guys also refreshing the Vivaldi Community thumbnail as well?
-
@D0J0P The new thumbnail has been there for a few days, also on Blog. Still nothing for Forum though, maybe we get something special
-
@luetage Really? I've been checking the resources folder for every snapshot in 1.11 and it seems like it hasn't shown up until now, when I updated to this 1.12 snapshot, and it opened Vivaldi to the Startpage and the new thumbnail was there. I didn't have to manually select it.
And I noticed that while vivaldi.com has switched to the new logo, vivaldi.net has not. But I read that they are continuously adding changes to vivaldi.net, so hopefully the icon, favicon, and thumbnail have a nice update soon.
I liked the big red background and the big white V in the previous vivaldi.com snapshot, I do like the fun, modern vibe the new one has. Reminds of of retro-futuristic-like stuff. It's cool, fun, a little eccentric. And it looks great when I have CSS for rounded corner thumbnails.

@Steffie This issue only affects Windows and Mac, any 1.11 build gets this issue, even pre final builds.
-
@aronand: So Linux remains good for NF in 1.12.x? Cool, thanks!
-
Congatulations
-
@d0j0p: It was changed in sync with the 1.11 release, which has the new icon
-
@Cqoicebordel That's weird, because not only did I look for the new one in the resources folder for the 1.11 snapshots, but on my sister's laptop where she uses the stable releases, hers didn't change to the new one either, and I even looked for it on her resources folder and didn't find the new one. It seems as though this was the first snapshot it appeared for me.
-
Please fix the issue when i set vivaldi 1.11 to default it start using insane amount of ram and cpu .

I wish we could see a total count of bookmarks, but I was one who for ages also had the problem you mention, but I'm not seeing a regression for it in 1.12. So maybe it's caused by something other than bookmarks now?

@Steffie Yep, just updated both PCs to new SS, & confirmed that NF continues to play nicely. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Teehee...
