Feature requests for 1.11

@luetage If this gets added would be nice if we got a "store" like the chrome webstore for them too.
-
@pafflick There are extensions that do this, You probably already knew that. Just wanted to let you know if you didn't. I personally wouldn't use this feature too much, but It's simple enough that you shouldn't have to add a extension for it.
-
@RammsteinAM Or any tab for that matter especially the annoying ones that spam those and won't let you close the tab because those get in the way.
-
@D0J0P Could you show me a picture i have no idea what you mean.
-
@ghpy From what i understand from amiunique.org is that it uses information that websites have access to, which a lot of websites can use for cool and useful features, such as 3d rendering, which would show your graphics card. Appearntly when they fingerprint they just collect a bunch of this information, and the combination of it all is probably unique, and can be Stored with your ip or something.
-
@pafflick Try using incognito mode (ctrl+shift+n)
-
@D0J0P And possibly apply the themes from chrome webstore/ Make our own.
-
@opera6rules Or they could redo the whole thing. If you use discord they have a "dreamland" where they have feature requests etc. and it lets you search all of them. and there are categories that the devs can move the requests to such as, being considered, Being worked on, completed, will not add, etc. Also it lets you search the list before you make your own request, and It also has categories for different aspects of discord.

@pafflick I wish that it could be smart about it though, and only do this when loading a bunch of tabs, since chrome used to do this to me when I was doing heavy rendering and it got annoying opening a youtube video in the background and checking later and then waiting for it to load.

@Rokanishu
You must have a different setting than me, also I like the style you put it as, but this is what i have.Edit 1: Sorry checked my reply it didn't have the image load, here http://prntscr.com/fnloha
Edit 2: Found the setting that lets you have what i have if you want it. -
Option in settings to open address in new tab with
enter
(instead of shift/altenter
) by default.
As requested by rven in this thread. -
Further performance improvements for Vivaldi's startup (especially cold one)

I would like to see the ability to upload images directly from the clipboard. This would save having to save the image first. This is very useful when doing matching image searches, and in other places. My other browser has this feature, and I often use it to upload images because it is easier than the whole save file/ find file procedure.
-
@panqwerty You also can hit F2 to open the quick command menu than type mute to get the available options to mute tabs.
-
Ability to drag & drop files from download panel

Your computer can be identified that way no matter what IP it is currently using. But the IP can be useful to identify the user behind the computer (name, address, etc.).
Some of the information given to websites is useful and necessary to ensure flawless display of the page. Some of the information could probably be done without (the number of fonts in my opinion). Some of the information (like canvas fingerprinting https://securehomes.esat.kuleuven.be/~gacar/persistent/#canvas-results ) seems just a security problem without any advantages for the user.

Ability to have a vertical toolbar
Similar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/vertical-toolbar/
Or, as a alternative, the ability to drag buttons to the panel (which when showing has a lot of available vertical space). Currently, if you try to drag a button to the panel, it looks like it is permitted (it's not crossed out like when you drag it somewhere else forbidden), but it doesn't stick there when you release it.
Seems minor, but this is the biggest thing I miss from Firefox.

Middle click (on Tab Bar) to open new tabs

@Chevi Please make it an option if this is implemented - sometimes I might want to have two tabs open on the same URL - for example I might be a long way down my Twitter timeline and want to look back to something at the top.
