"Cloudbleed": addressing your questions
-
Users who were logged in the affected period from September 21 to November 4 had their passwords reset.
shouldn't you reset the password for period September 20 - November 5, just to be sure you won't miss some people by not taking timezones into account?

@dLeon There's a captcha when you invoke Password reset on login.

My password wasn't reset, but I would like to change my password.
I login using - https://login.vivaldi.net/profile/samlsso which takes me to a login and then to edit account. I can edit and update my name and country, but can't edit my external email or password. When attempting to change password I get this msg:
An error has occurred
Error Details : Invalid session. Cannot proceedand for external email this is blue font and unable to edit
I have cookies enabled. I use the email account in the old Opera Mail downloaded mail program.

Hello Ísak - how about 2FA for Vivaldi in the near future. Any plans?

@Charm_S :- I figured out my particular problem, my old password had spaces and I thought I could do new password with spaces but that's not possible. I discovered this by trying to create a new account and got this error msg for the password with spaces "Failed to register the user. 17002 Credential not valid. Credential must be a non null for the user"
Not exactly a clear error msg but I figured it out.
I was thinking there was some cookie like thing being stored which was preventing change of password, but it wasn't that.

@Charm_S :- I also note that you can be logged into the forum in one vivaldi account and log into webmail using a different account. That's contrary to other comments elsewhere that say when you login to one, your logged into both.
