@nellaiseemai , You can use simultaneously the two channels of the browser , just install Stable version and use "Install standalone" future for Snapshot:

Please add the option for opening Screenshots from notes in New Tab.
Now we have that option.

Possibility to mark all items at once, for Clear Private Data.
Now we have that option.

@JuniorSilva30 I know that, but when I asked this function before the first snapshot version 1.8 was not there

New bookmarks view modes. Currently only list view mode for bookmarks avalible. I want to ask to add thumbnail view modes (smal and large) just like in Opera, and some other browsers.
-
Merge Panel and Status bar. Why not to add elements from Status bar to side Panel? Screenshot, togle images, scale, etc. I do not want to have panel at the bottom, but I need sometimes those elements. It would be simple to acess them via left Panel. It have a lot of free spece anyway.
-
@alxgvr Some users don't use the side panel toolbar so that won't work for them. Most elements are available with shortcuts. I use shortcut "s" to toggle the status bar, which means I can disable it to save space, or enable it to access the functions.

Option to move buttons

Add option to disable the "This type of file can harm your computer" warning for downloads.

@kayovas Thanks. I am using Vivaldi 1.7 and Snapshot 1.8 using this method. But still I prefer them to be installed to Program Files in Windows. Firefox (Firefox & Firefox Developer) and Opera (Opera Stable & Opera Beta & Opera Developer) gives that option by default. All can be run as independent program with separate directory for local storage (addons etc).
I prefer to see that option in Vivaldi.Right now I keep Vivaldi Snapshot as Standalone and store it in a folder on desktop. I am not comfortable with that. If I try to install the standalone version on to my program files folder I got an error saying it cannot create local directory.
Thanks

@gaelle Keyboard shortcuts for alternating between tabs in Tab Stacks.
-
@clasan You already can do this with the standard shortcuts to switch between tabs
-
@Omar_Elrefaei he probably means that some settings don't work if you move the "portable" Vivaldi to another computer or OS, like saved passwords.

Ability to switch search engines in the search field with ctrl+up, ctrl+down.
A feature I miss from Firefox. When you type something in the search field and realize that the active search engine is not what you want, you could change it with ctrl+up, ctrl+down.
-
This would make tab stacks a lot more useful. After all, when you have multiple related tabs open, you are probably going to switch between them more often than you switch to tabs in other groups, but currently you need to hover over the correct tab stack and then select the actual tab you want to switch to.
If all tabs of the current tab stack were visible all the time, switching between the tabs would be much more comfortable.

Settings option to disable the auto-population of "Find in Page" field with currently selected text
This is a recently added feature in the 1.8 snapshots that keeps irritating me and getting in my way. Am I overlooking a toggle in Settings? (Searching for "Find" in Settings doesn't turn up a checkbox for it.)
When I press Cmd-F/Ctrl-F or Cmd-G/Ctrl-G, I want to have the last thing I searched for still be the search string, not have it replaced because I happened to have some text mouse-selected somewhere.
If you're going to make the "Selected gets used as search string for Find in Page" a permanent feature in 1.8 Final onward, please make it optional.
