@Stardust This works already with Use Native Window activated...
I know. I don't use Native Window mode.

Can you make Vivaldi Regular and Vivaldi Snapshot installation separate and make then run independently?
There are ways to do this ourselves. But I prefer it to be simpler very similar to Firefox vs Firefox Developer and Opera vs Opera Developer. They all can be installed simultaneously and be run independently by default. User has nothing to do in the installation step to ensure this.
If it is made that way all can run Vivaldi and Vivaldi snapshot simultaneously.
Thanks -
@gaelle It would be nice to be able to import other browser's favorites. And it would also be nice to be able to synchronize Vivaldi between several computers.

@Blovd31 File menu, Import Bookmarks and Settings.

When pages load inside an iframe, there is no indication that anything is happening -- it should show the loading/progress.
-
Javascript popups or http login prompts should not interrupt all tabs
-
I should be able to right click or middle click things like the items on the dropdown for going back, or search results in the address bar to open them in a new tab.
-
Do not change address bar content if the user types something and then the page re-loads or redirects

Can you please give us the option to move the "Capture Page" icon along with addon bar?
Right now the capture page icon is kept on the status bar which usually I do not opt to have instead I have it merged/overlay at the address bar. In that it was difficult to use the "capture page" option. I know there are shortcut keys for this.
But if the icon kept visible along with the addon icons, it will be easier to use. Thanks

@Guilimote duly noted thank you

Replace Vivaldi button with classic menu bar - all the place you need.I'm opt for less space! - So V button tabs and minimize/maximize/close buttons are in one row.
No.
- In that case I will have a title bar also in maximized state, which I don't need.
- I like Vivaldi button.
If you use Windows (7, 8, 10) you probably know that it's possible to maximize any window by dragging it to the top of your screen and restore it down same way by dragging down from top. I use this method. It makes possible to directly move the window after restoring down, without releasing the mouse button. So very often I restore down Vivaldi window and move it to the right. In this case as I have lots of tabs, the only part of the window which I can drag to move it, goes out of the screen. So if I release mouse and want to move the Vivaldi window, I have to use Windows Key + Up to maximize Vivaldi window, and again restore it down via dragging from top.
If I find time, I will make a video, which will show what I mean.

@Merc
Me too. Currently i use view page source to get the info instead. Not very intuitive imho. -

Lazy load tabs opened in the background (as an option)
Sometimes it would be handy to be able to open multiple tabs in the background without loading their contents right away and thus slowing down your network and computer. This should also apply (optionally) to opening multiple links at once from the bookmarks menu.
You're talking how this extension does, more or less.
If so, it would be very good! Extension : Open Link in Silent Tab -

Ability to re-order / remove various UI elements
First of all: Extension icons and panel icons. But the ability to re-order or remove some of the UI elements would be greatly appreciated. (I'd like to get rid of the Home button for example).
Would be great! I would like to remove the trash button.

@nellaiseemai , You can use simultaneously the two channels of the browser , just install Stable version and use "Install standalone" future for Snapshot:

Please add the option for opening Screenshots from notes in New Tab.
Now we have that option.

Possibility to mark all items at once, for Clear Private Data.
Now we have that option.

@JuniorSilva30 I know that, but when I asked this function before the first snapshot version 1.8 was not there
-
New bookmarks view modes. Currently only list view mode for bookmarks avalible. I want to ask to add thumbnail view modes (smal and large) just like in Opera, and some other browsers.
-
Merge Panel and Status bar. Why not to add elements from Status bar to side Panel? Screenshot, togle images, scale, etc. I do not want to have panel at the bottom, but I need sometimes those elements. It would be simple to acess them via left Panel. It have a lot of free spece anyway.
-
@alxgvr Some users don't use the side panel toolbar so that won't work for them. Most elements are available with shortcuts. I use shortcut "s" to toggle the status bar, which means I can disable it to save space, or enable it to access the functions.
Vote for the general issue already requested:

Option to move buttons

Add option to disable the "This type of file can harm your computer" warning for downloads.

@kayovas Thanks. I am using Vivaldi 1.7 and Snapshot 1.8 using this method. But still I prefer them to be installed to Program Files in Windows. Firefox (Firefox & Firefox Developer) and Opera (Opera Stable & Opera Beta & Opera Developer) gives that option by default. All can be run as independent program with separate directory for local storage (addons etc).
I prefer to see that option in Vivaldi.Right now I keep Vivaldi Snapshot as Standalone and store it in a folder on desktop. I am not comfortable with that. If I try to install the standalone version on to my program files folder I got an error saying it cannot create local directory.
Thanks
