Easier tab selection by domain - Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.5.676.6
-
Confirmed. File a big report.
-
Nah, i just did the update on my other pc [Lappy, Mint 18 Xfce], & it was certainly no faster than usual. So, i guess sunspots it was, before.
-
Certainly a bug. Will look into this next week.
-
Nice ones!
Here is mine, a little one.
From builds to builds, a tab here and tab there, but not a very little thing have been corrected: VB-22 887 - Civaldi does not show site name or url in the tooltip when you hover mouse pointer over an icon in the Bookmarks bar.
Yes, url is shown on Status bar far away on bottom, not very informative place for that. Please, even confirm if this is designed to work like this or not?
-
It is not possible to move it always yet the bookmark link. / bookmarks bar / Why? This in all browsers basis thing. But here not.
-
"We also did some work on our startup procedure and would love to hear feedback on if you notice any difference."
Can't see much visible difference here, start up time still is quite slow. But dragged tabs that open as new windows seem to open slightly faster.
-
"Pin Tab" mapped to a shortcut seems to only work in one direction - i.e. I can pin a tab using that shortcut, but I can't unpin it with the same shortcut pressed again.
-
Confirmed. Looks like a bug to me.
(VB-23552) Shortcut to Pin Tab Does not Unpin itAlso, I can assign a mouse gesture to "Pin Tab" but it does nothing.
(VB-23551) Mouse Gesture Assign to Pin Tab Does Nothing -
I think I found another regression. Pressing backspace in a webpanel when typing goes back in history in main tab. This was fixed at some point but is back now – with the new snapshot. osx 10.11.6
-
Yep, also for me. It seems like they have more space in between each of them, and they cut off on the right if I maximize the window.
-
I have an extreme high processor load on some websites. Is that just me or do others have the same problem. One example: www.otto.de
Vivaldi takes over 30%, Firefox just around 6%.I'm on Linux. KDE neon 5.8.4.

"We also did some work on our startup procedure and would love to hear feedback on if you notice any difference."
I hoped, that VB-13714 Wrong Speed Dial favicon after Vivaldi starts is fixed, but it isn't.
Also VB-10368 Tab history is limited to 6 webpages after Vivaldi starts isn't fixed yet.
This bug is back again: VB-13507 no contents in notes after Vivaldi starts
And yes, Vivaldi starts faster here.
Environment: Windows 8.1 (x64), Vivaldi x32, 1.5.676.6mf

Can confirm, same issue on Win 10 64b with Vivaldi 32b
-
Yeah, same here with me. Win10 x64, Viv x64.
-
Nice one, but I didn't know that about IE… OK, I don't use it in ages...
But my standard PDF reader has this feature of colored tabs, STDU Viewer. It would be very good if Viv has is implemented.
-
New feature request:
Add an option to automatically group tabs after certain number of tabs from the same domain. -
A big +1 for numbers 2 and 6.
-
IE also has a feature where when you close the rightmost tab, the next tab "stretches" so that your cursor is on the X (when you move your cursor the tab bounces back to normal size). While not justifying IE, it is a thoughtful feature that makes closing tabs in rapid succession super easy.

bugs… the text-field losing focus when click in 1st time...needed clicks 2nd time the text-field get focus back....
windows 10, using this latest version
