macOS: can't remove buttongroup after some update

I used to be able to remove the useless window close/min/max buttons with .window-buttongroup {display: none !important}

But this stopped working after some update
And now I can't even select those buttons in the UI customization mode

Can you please fix it and make it removable again?

As an illustration of how ridiculous forcing unchangeable UI on folks is: here is how these brightly colored buttons appear for me (their position is so weird because I've change the style of the address bar)

It seems that I can confirm this isn't working with Vivaldi version 7.0.3495.26 on macOS.

I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong.

No, my guess is Vivaldi devs need to change the way they add these buttons to make them stylable again (or add an option to not show them)
