In the photo, the borscht has a faded colour. On the plate it was clearer, like the juice. -
@kahukura
I think you have such a knife
(a very good one), but also be interested in a peeler:
-
This type of peeler is better:
-
Mac is a well known Japanese Brand (here it's the PKF-50 model)
-
Tonkatsu & green pepper
Overcooked the green peppers... though...
-
@shifte Looks good to me. Enjoy!

"Green pepper" is called "ピーマン" in Japanese.

-
Fine, sheesh.
Try to stay on topic, some people are more sensitive than others. -
I said in What are you eating?:
Is a thread needed - I haven't eaten but how tasty does it look?
-
@kahukura
Recently, greeen pepper is less bitter. I prefer the more bitter green pepper. -

I have highlighted what we call "oczka" - 'eyes'. Potatoes from which the 'eyes' have not been removed are called 'looking'. With my peeler the 'eyes' are removed very easily. Yours are probably very good for making "patrzące ziemniaki" - 'looking potatoes'. -
@Ryszard In fact, both variants (of peelers) work well to remove the eyes.
