MAPI 4 Vivaldi

Does anyone know if the Vivaldi mail client is MAPI-compliant for Windows? Thunderbird is driving me crazy with glitches, slow operation, and both hard-drive and RAM memory consumption. Its whole "unified" inbox scheme works poorly and its threaded view sucks (doesn't show sent mails). Seems to me back in the day, Opera had better email than this, and it WAS MAPI-compliant.
