Vertical Tab Bar Width Limit Increase

Does the default non-modded width of vertical tab bar really have to be so narrowly limited?
Currently it's not possible to have both top level and second level column wide enough to to display more than 2-3 words at the same time at both levels.
I propose the maximum width to be increased to at least 150-200% of the current max width.
Even on a non ultra wide monitor, I would prefer to have the vertical tab bar set wider than currently possible.
