Bug report: cannot create two notes in Android Vivaldi browser
-
I am able to successfully create one note and I am able to edit that one note, or delete it and create a new note, but I cannot add a second note without the browser crashing.
On desktop this is not an issue and multiple notes can sync from desktop to the Android browser but I'm not able to create a secondary note using vivaldi Android.
I have tried this multiple times on different devices and also with a clean install and the same issue persists. -
Update: I am unable to create any notes It crashes after trying to make any vivaldi note on Android

Hi, I can create notes as I like:I know some user have this issue and it is reported as bug and fixed internal.
I hope we get a minor update for Vivaldi 6.2 including this fix.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin That's good to know thank you, are you using snapshot or the stable release?
I'm on Android 13 Samsung S22 -
@Anduril97
I use both but the image is from stable. -
@mib2berlin Good to know thank you, I will try to maybe do a fresh installation and see what happens. I'm currently using stable.

@Anduril97
Hi, if your device support it you can use dual apps, it can create a clone of your install but with a clean profile.
I use this for testing.Cheers, mib

Thanks everyone, unfortunately Samsung does not seem to support dual installation of Vivaldi. However once I added a note on the desktop and synchronized it with my Android, now I am able to add/edit and create notes as I wish without issues. It seems like the issue was with creating the first note ever on Android
