Why isn't Vivaldi recognised by Apple (Macintosh)
-
Vivaldi does not exist in the extensive list of browsers in the App Store. As well a lot of applications do not accept input from Vivaldi. Is someone working on this failure to recognise?
-
I don't really know what "extensive list of browsers" you're referring to. Afaik, the Map App Store is only really home to two browsers of note:
- The DDG browser
- The Maxthon browser, which is severely outdated - the latest version in their website is 7.1.6, while the version in the Mac App Store is still at 5.1.70.

What do you mean here with input from Vivaldi? Could you give an example?

For Example Canada Revenue Agency

@astechman I have no trouble using the site. What difficulty do you experience?
-
@astechman I use the CRAs website using Vivaldi all the time with no issues.
-
Well, I have had this issue in the past, but since you had no problem I tried again and all went well at CRA. Thanks for all the replies, I will be happy to continue with Vivaldi. PS, I have used it for many years already!

@astechvic Does the App Store offer Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, etc. ?
-
I checked recently on the Mac App Store and found a long list of browsers, 30 plus, none are Vivaldi!
-
@astechman Well, none are Chrome, Firefox, Brave or Opera...
