Dark mode for the web page
-
I’m trying to find how to do this. Appreciate any advice. My eyes like white text on dark background better. Thanks.

Very easy. Install Dark Reader extension and forget:

Look this post to change the layout to version 5, is better and clearer:

I use this colors:
You obtain good contrast. (White on Black is too much contrast)

Hi, I am not aware extensions are working on iOS mobiles at moment, would be a nice feature.Cheers, mib

Sorry, I didn't realize that for iOS.

I’m using this extension already in my notebooks and it’s really good. Thanks for suggesting. We’ll see if there will be a built in dark immersive reader coming soon. -
@barbudo2005
I done this hundreds times.
@gerryfrez
The Android user wait for this for a long time but maybe this is easier to implement on iOS.Cheers, mib

Thanks for sharing that the preview is much better. I like also your hex colours -

I hope the workspaces will also be implemented in iOS. I can’t live without them -

@barbudo2005
Thanks, will check it out -
By the way, in Vivaldi for Android there is an option to select dark mode for web pages in the Theme settings. Hopefully it will be implemented in iOS & iPadOS

one of the especially gratifying aspects of forum life is the bigly satisfying inner glow one gets when one's helpful suggestion is utterly ignored by the peep ostensibly wanting help.

There is a safari extension called Noir which actually works better than DarkReader on desktop in my little experience. Unfortunately it's Safari only, but there's another discussion here wondering if extensions will work for third party ios browsers. If we can't get general extensions working dark mode is a top feature request.
