deleted browsing history reappears

Sorry, maybe im mising something obvious. but as soon as I delete some history it reappears.
I place this in ARM(pi) but its the same on my windows PC.

1. open history page (seems to do the same thing if its in the side bar or full page)

2. Start typing the name of the site so that items matching are filtered in.

3. select/ highlight the items i want deleted.

4. right click >delete (or press delete key)

5. items dissapear for a fraction of a second.

6. deleted items reappear!

any thoughts?
