Facebook: Most videos won't play

Just recently, about 80% of Facebook videos won't play.
I get an error message stating: "Sorry, we're having trouble playing this video."
I've gone through all of the recommended troubleshooting steps listed here: https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/troubleshoot/troubleshooting-issues/
I'm running MacOS 12.6.7 on a 2017 iMac i7.

macOS Monterey 12.6.8 was released a few days ago.
Do you have any extensions enabled?
