Don't tell anyone, but from what I 've heard the delay comes because they are working in parallel with the gecko engine (PC only).

On Topic: in Chromium 116.
On Virtualbox 7.0 on Linux 6.1 Kernels (Ubuntu, Debian) i can not use the 6.2 Snapshot with HWA. Problems with UI, missing parts or wrong color or freezes. With override GPU blocklist active its worse. Does not depend if X or Wayland. Graaah!!!
Sad.

@DoctorG Don't know about the 6.1 kernel, but on my6.2.0-26-generic Khubunthu 23.04 kernel in VBox 7.0.10 r158379, snapshot runs fine with HWA with the --ignore-gpu-blocklist switch (X11, AMD GPU). Guest-utils installed?

Correction, I can see what you mean with the broken UI, the moment one opens anything from the panel

@npro No such problems with QEMU though (it doesn't need the ignore switch but it's slower with 3D)

Any chance for either another Chromium bump or https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/c719003f9815b9b5026a1924398c2a4ea6c33967 to be added in 6.2 before it releases?

I ask due to that aforementioned commit fixing a browser bricking issue in Feren OS, of whom Vivaldi Snapshot currently suffers from - reported as VB-99151.
