Okay, I'll try that.
Also, converting it as a GIF never was a good idea: the format was born with 256 colors and low frame rates. So, very very poor compression ratio.
.gif file or .mp4?

@Vivaldiscool You can't use MP4 files for background images in themes, this was already established.
Can you share the original MP4 file you want to use?
