100% CPU Usage when using some websites
-
I am getting 100% CPU usage when on facebook and using messenger, all computer fans turning on etc. This is happening most times Im on facebook. Has anyone else seen this?

@matt991 Hi - some web sites are just heavy on the load. You can use the internal task manager to verify what tabs are using a lot of CPU (Shift+Esc).
Then compare that CPU use with the Windows Task Manager.
Then compare this with other browsers.
If it's the same in other browsers, it's just a website issue, bad code and web developers not caring about people on slower systems.I don't use FB so I can't check myself. My guess is FB has a ton of tracking and other type of scripts running constantly in the background.

yup i did check task manager, and its only facebook and only on vivaldi, tricky to get a screen shot though.. hmm

@matt991 Are you sure it's only in Vivaldi? What other browser did you test with? All Chromium browsers use the same rendering engine, which should be what handles this. Firefox might be different.

You're on Windows, so
Win+Shift+S
is what I use to capture UI.
