"Import from Applications or Files" not working
-
I am moving from Opera to Vivaldi. When I try to import my Opera data into Vivaldi, this happens. (shown in the images below)
Opera version: 99.0.4788.77 (Stable channel) (64-Bit)
Vivaldi version: 6.1.3035.84 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
Operating system: Windows 11 -
Also, how do you make it so when you zoom with a touchpad, it doesn't change the UI scale but instead just zooms in?

@Forelie Hello and Welcome to the Vivaldi Community
You have selected Opera 12. Select Opera 15+ and make sure it finds the profile:
I don't have a touchpad, but read:
https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/tabs/zooming-options-in-vivaldi/
I know there are some issues with using a touchpad in Vivaldi. I always just use the keyboard Ctrl-+/- -
@Pathduck Wow, that was a fast reply. After redoing it and selecting the 15+ versions, it says it successfully imported my bookmarks, passwords, and history, it seems that it hasn't actually imported anything at all. Looking at my history, I see nothing more, and no more saved passwords, or bookmarks.
Edit: sorry, it has imported my bookmarks

@Forelie Might be a bug there, seem to remember import from Opera passwords fail.
You can export passwords CSV from Opera settings and import in Vivaldi:
https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/tools/import-and-export-browser-data/#Import_Passwords
Note - Step 1-3 is outdated, password import is enabled by default. For History, you'll just have to repopulate it, History is fleeting informaton anyway

@Pathduck thanks a lot, you've been very helpful

Under
vivaldi://settings/webpages/
disableUse Ctrl+Scroll to Zoom Page
. Then you will be able to zoom in on a webpage like how you would zoom in on an image.
