Vivaldi vs Safari
-
I am an avid user of Safari, but since I saw this browser almost a year ago, I said that I really want it and I feel that there is something good about it.
A year and a half later I can say that I am very satisfied with Vivaldi. I started using Safari less and less.
But there are two problems with Vivaldi and I don't know if it is necessarily the fault of the browser.
The first thing I would say is the battery management. Yes, the battery on my laptop lasts much less than if I were to use Safari. From the average of almost 7-8 hours, I reached 5 hours (I mention that the battery was replaced with an original one, so the test was done fairly.
The second problem I would say is that the Vivaldi browser is not really that fast. Compared to Safari, I can't say that it's even the same and it's even felt in certain tasks (in addition, almost every benchmark made by me says this).
One more thing... Vivaldi claims that it is very secure and private, but I will attach two pictures below and await your opinion...
What do you say? Is it worth switching from Safari to Vivaldi? If so, why? If not, why?

@Foorest I got slightly different figures:
The one critical warning:
(Someone with a better understanding of these things will have to explain how likely this is to come up...)
I'd call the Browser Audit tests a wash. As with most benchmarking...
The total experience is what keeps me on Vivaldi! (Admittedly, much of that is aesthetics, including usability.)
BTW: Here's what I got from Safari, Version 15.6.1
