Extensions on the toolbar

This is what i would like to have, tell me what is possible to do.

Remove the extensions button that only expand/collapse extensions icons without also removing the icons OR be able access the extensions panel (Ctrl shift E) via that icon

Remove the extensions button that only expand/collapse extensions icons

The button is there to show hidden extensions. If you show all extensions, the button will disappear. Right-click the icons, choose "Show icon".

You can right-click any extension and open the Extensions Manager.
You can also create a Command Chain, add this as a button on the toolbar and assign a custom icon.

but the rest is not what i want. i don't want a button that shows hidden extensions, i want a button that opens extensions panel and i can have this installing an extension that add this button, but i need to remove this one
i don't want all extensions on the toolbar (and even if i show all, the button stays)

Edit_: ok i had to set "show button" on every extension so that button goes away, but again it's not what i want. some extensions have no settings, so i don't want/need them on the toolbar

Again, this is not what i'm asking
i already did those things, but where are the extensions on the toolbar??? i said i don't want them ALL, but some of them are needed. if i remove Extensions button, all extensions are gone.
The button to open extensions panel is an extra. i want it so i don't to use menu/tools, but the important thing is to get rid of that button that just expand/collapse extensions, without removing ALL extensions but keeping SOME of them

and i would add "like it was some time ago"...i don't know which version introduced this button, but it was not always this way the extensions were managed
