Crash handler

On many popular browsers like Google Chrome, a "Restore pages?" popup appears after the browser crashes, allowing you to get back to work quickly. As Vivaldi crashes quite often, it should have such a feature, too.

vivaldi://settings/general/
Startup with: last session -
I think that's even the default setting

@QBot Please vote for the existing feature request: Restore Unsaved Pages when Crash Happened
Not everyone wants to use startup with last session. I am not even sure if it will work after a crash in every case.

@QBot
Hi, I think your request is valid, we have some reports about data loss after Vivaldi crash.
Last session settings does not help in this case but the question is why Vivaldi crash for you?
I cant even remember Vivaldi crash for me except I test bug reports.
For example, if you open the settings from some extensions Vivaldi 6.0 crash.Cheers, mib

It crashes EVERY HECKING TIME I click on a link in an extension popup, no matter which one.

@QBot which extension and how to get that popup? If it's replicable we can create a bug report

@iAN-CooG
As I mentioned in my post this bug is reported and fixed in 6.1.
Why some some user think Chrome extensions work 100% in Vivaldi is a mystery to me, they donΒ΄t.Cheers, mib

@iAN-CooG this is a known issue already. Certain links from extensions, particularly popups that use <a target=blank> cause crashing. I haven't found a workaround other than to open the extension popup in a tab, which isn't a very good solution to the problem.

I've reread your reply to @QBot above 2 times, but you haven't mentioned at all this bug got reported and fixed in 6.1, not in this thread, at least. Are you referring to some other thread?
Edit: I see now this thread has been split/moved, nevermind
