Workspaces and memory

Does using workspaces use more memory than saving individual saved sessions?
For example, before workspaces, I'd save different sessions: Work, Play, Travel, etc. I'd only open the ones I needed, some often, others seldom.
If I turn each of those sessions into a workspace, then they're all available at the same time. As far as memory use, is this the same as having all of my sessions open at the same time?

Hi, I cant test this but workspaces use the same memory than open sessions, I expect even a bit more.
The workspace feature need memory, too.
I have enough memory but I often hibernate workspaces, you can do with right click context menu on a workspace.
I add a shortcut for hibernate all workspaces.
I have a news workspace, the tabs need to update anyway to get the latest version, this workspace is always hibernate by me.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin Thanks! I've started hibernating workspaces. Checking in TaskManager (Windows), hibernate seems to free up a significant amount of RAM, so I've stopped using separate saved sessions for now. I haven't yet added several seldom used sessions as workspaces, so things may change when I do add them. Cheers!
