Vivaldi Freezing slow reaction on Keyboard and mouse
-
I'm experiencing after installing latest versions 6... freezing and slow reaction on keyboard/mouse input, after waiting a while it disappears, but when I come back from another prog. It is back again.
I went back to latest previous version Vivaldi.5.8.2978.36.x64.exe all is back to speed like I'm used to. -

Hi, I am sorry to say this but the downgrade have possibly break your profile, this one seems to work, but unexpected errors appear in the future and nobody can reproduce it then.
For the freezing and slowdown I bet it is a third party AV software blocks Vivaldi after the update.
An extension not working correctly after the update can cause this, too.
Do you use AV software like Avast, Kaspersky or similar?Cheers, mib

I've downgraded to see if it solved the problem, and it did.
I have the most recent version on my laptop with same problem.
I've got no idea what's coursing this problem, I hoped somebody had a good suggestion.
Using (for years) ESET OneDrive/Office 365.
I'm using Vivaldi for a Few years now, this is the first time I experienced these problems. -
I'm also experiencing this issue since updating. The address bar in particular freezes and lags when I type.

Hi, software can break anytime, a friend had the same issue with Avast Internet Security.
I could test this with disable Avast but this dos not work always.
This is only my experience over many years of Vivaldi and forum help.
Slowdown, dead birds, crash of Vivaldi after an update:- AV software
- AV software
- Extensions
- A Vivaldi bug
Some user report a reinstall of Vivaldi can fix this, this does not touch your user data.

I installed a snapshot version 6.1.3035.35, this works fine, later on will try the stable version again.
