Integration of one sec browser extension
-
If you are anything like me, sometimes you sit down to work, and all of a sudden you find yourself scrolling through social media, not even remembering opening the app/web page.
For those not familiar with it, one sec is an app which aims to help you stay focussed by delaying opening of apps you have decided on. When you open an app you have "blacklisted", one sec pops up, blocks your screen for a few seconds, tells you to take a deep breath, and asks whether you still want to continue to the app. It's very useful for reducing the amount of time you scroll through social media without even realising it.
one sec is also available as a browser extension for some of the "big" browsers out there, and works the same way as the app. It would be awesome if we could get the extension available for Vivaldi! Vivaldi has boosted my efficiency already, but some help with the doom scrolling would be amazing!
If anyone is familiar with some hacks within Vivaldi in the mean time (I haven't seen any, but then again there are so many settings in Vivaldi -- thank you! -- that it's easy to miss something) to simulate a similar effect, I am all ears!
