Disappearing Tool Bars.....What!!!
-
Am I going crazy? Sometimes I jump from browser to email, read my email and create a draft only to find that all the email toolbars are gone !! What's up with that? Is there a fix besides close/open browser? TIA
-
@janrif Never seen that.
Any time you are working in email, the toolbars for it should be present.

@Ayespy Reinstalled with the same result. I don't even know where to start looking for a solution...... tried resetting tool bars to default... no dice, reinstalled vivaldi....no change. What other resource can I access?

@janrif Reinstalling is a reliably ineffective "solution." It rarely does anything.
A clean profile usually cures all, though.

@janrif As always with such things, it might be an idea to illustrate the issue with some visual means, instead of trying to explain exactly what you're seeing.
A screen recording/video would be ideal, but some screenshots showing the issue will be useful as well. Some before/after screenshots for instance.
I find using Vivaldi's built-in screenshot tool really useful, and also the Windows Snipping tool is great for capturing parts of the screen to the clipboard, for pasting directly into a forum post.
The best thing is showing a step-by-step process in how you're getting the issue to show in a clean profile, with screenshots to illustrate.

Here are the illustrations you requested. I have none of these toolbars for Mail.
This is what I do have
