Boa noite! Muito bom!
-
-
@iliym [I tried to translate]
what should I do to get it faster, how much reputation should be or is it all in manual mode who liked you to the one and is given access ?
Use often Vivaldi Sync, participate often in Vivaldi Social Mastodon, let others upvote your forum posts, then wait 1-2 weeks (i hope not more).
Welcome in our Vivaldi Community
Do not hesitate to ask, we are a community to help users.
Enjoy browsing with Vivaldi.

@iliym I've spent a bit more than three weeks using sync, regularly visiting Vivaldi Social, watching and liking other users' posts there, and writing some posts on the forum. Still no webmail access granted.
I stopped further observations due to switching off sync and returning to FF. -

@Zalex108 Sorry, my bad! Post edited.

microsoft should learn from vivaldi how to manage their spammy outlook system
-
@shojivrstrinova8 Microsoft and Outlook have all power and need not to learn. Using great mail providers as "free" mail is not a good choice.
In such case Vivaldi mail account is a good way to get away from providers wo trains AI with mail an content scanning to inject ads. -
@DoctorG agreed with not good choice, their spam system is bad that it still enter my inbox
-
So, if I understand this right...I have to comment on blog posts like this or write my own blog in order to get access to webmail?
Isn't that overly prohibitive? I'm just now coming onto Vivaldi, and it seems great, and I want to get away from the "main" email providers...what types of issues were you all dealing with in the past that is making something like this necessary?
-
@pathduck: This makes sense...but couldn't they offer a paid option for those of us who don't have time to peruse blogs but still want use of Vivaldi's webmail services?
-
@BoomBaby34 Why are you asking me?

Correct. Use all of Vivaldi's services, participate in the Forum, etc.. Over time, this activity will increase your overall Reputation level and you will receive an e-mail once the Webmail privilege has been unlocked.

No.

See this section of the Blog post.

No. There are other posts in the Forum suggesting the same. I don't forsee a paid option.

@BoomBaby34 This is a forum, not a blog. Yes, you can start your own blog and that will contribute to getting access to webmail. So will participation in Vivaldi Social on Mastodon, using Vivaldi Sync, designing and uploading themes, and participating in this forum.
