Can't get rid of title bar after update to 6.0
-
Hi!
I just updated to 6.0. Nice update overall except...
I can no longer get rid of title bar as I used to.
Before this update the window controls on the top right corner were "embeded" in the separators tab. It was nice and clean.
Since this update in the option check to show/ hide title bar it shows the message: "this option has no effect when separators appear on top". What?
That is for me a drawback. My screen is just no big enough. I need all the space I can have to work properly and the title bar just makes no sense to exist for people who do know what they are doing... And since I need to use several windows, the F11 to maximise is not an option.
I am getting back to the previous version if this is not fixed.
Please fix this!
Thank you for you help and patience. -
@saulmiranda It sounds like you have enabled the "Use Native Window" setting in Settings > Appearance. Uncheck it and restart the browser.
Since this update in the option check to show/ hide title bar it shows the message: "this option has no effect when separators appear on top". What?
This is a new option in 6.0. It only applies if tabs are side or bottom.
I am getting back to the previous version if this is not fixed.
Going back to previous versions is not supported and will break your profile.

@saulmiranda
Hi, don´t downgrade Vivaldi, this break your user profile.
I guess you meant the flexible space in the toolbar, you can remove them.
Open the Toolbar Editor and drag the space out of the toolbar.

@Pathduck Hi!
Thank you.
It was that option.
Back to normal now! -
@mib2berlin
Thanks for your feedback but I already solved that one myself.
It was an issue too but I edited the toolbars and got rid of the flexible spaces.
