Vivaldi's ad blocker does not block new " Promoted Tweet " items in twitter

@bcat Vivaldi doesn’t create filter lists, they are all third party. Find one that blocks promoted tweets, or create your own filter for them (you can create custom blocking lists and load them from your file system).

thank you both for you replies. I have copied CleanYourTwitter.txt on my machine, and added it in Vivaldi settings / privacy / ...
but still promoted tweets are there
while when activating for instance Adguard adblocker, those unwanted tweets are hidden.
I am not able to debug this filter list by myself. so I will activate Adguard adblocker for a while, hoping that one of these days the filter lists used by Vivaldi will manage this case. -
@bcat That’s not how you add a third party filter list. Take the raw link @barbudo2005 posted and add it to your blocker sources. When you click on the
+
sign it asks you to input a URL. The advantage is it will update automatically, whereas lists coming from your file system won’t. That’s why the file system approach should only be used for entries you create yourself.Vivaldi has a narrow set of enabled filter lists, this is not likely to change. If the lists don’t cut it for something specific, you will have to find a list that fits your need. Vivaldi only provides the foundation. I don’t have a Twitter account, therefore I can’t check this out.
