How remove a workspace?
-
level too low, I guess.
How I can remove a workspace I don't need anymore? -
@Hadden89 Click on the Workspace button in tab bar, hover the one you want to remove, context menu → Delete Workspace
If you have tabs in this WS you should move them to Window before, otherwise they are lost after deletion. -
@DoctorG Ok, so perhaps is due an old build (2936.3) which doesn't have the button yet. I can wait
-
@Hadden89 Even Stable 5.7.2921.65 has it if enabled in vivaldi://experiments.
-
@DoctorG Yes but I should use stable then; too many things to migrate.
By the way, it works there, so I just have to wait next snappy RC to enable back WS ^^ -
@DoctorG I only JUST started with Workspaces today (first time for everything , right...). I also have a small issue trying to delete one workspace. it only gives me an option to either Copy all links, or Hibernate tabs
Whereas with the SECOND space I made (and named) I do have more options.
I created the first one, not really knowing what it would do. It had 5 tabs in it, and I then deleted the tabs that were in it, thinking it would solve my problem. When it didn't I created the second one, which I could rename as well - or delete if I wanted...
The first one though, with now a start page in it, cannot seemingly not be deleted.
Any pointers on what I can do?I am running 6.0.2979.15 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
Cheers,
Rick -
@Rick_nl you can remove them from window panel too. I don't think we can rename or delete the main workspace or the speed dial inside (yet). The first one could be treated as a window.
